Felted Vessel Advanced Workshop

The class will learn how to create a 3 dimensional object, beginning with a small bowl and then creating a tea cosy or small bag. Students should be familiar with wet felting & have taken a previous class.
Students should bring:
Ball (water) brauser, or water container (which large holes can be perforated into lid)
A large sponge
A washboard or textured mat
Several old towels
Instructor will provide the following as part of the Felting Kit:

About Esther Grav
Esther Grav considers herself a Fibre Artist. She is creator of clothing, accessories and fun objects made from wool, silk, cotton and other exotic materials.
Esther has been weaving for 40 years and received her certificate of weaving from the OHS program in 1990. Over the past 15 years, Esther has been exploring the ancient art of wet felting. This exploration has allowed her to travel and work with master Felters. She is passionate about handloom weaving, spinning, dyeing & knitting. Esther also runs a home based business, called What’s Weft (since 1983), selling fibres, spinning equipment and teaching people to create their own felted works.
