Honouring Each Other: United Nations Association-Quinte & Bloomfield United Church present …
A United Community Celebration
Through a live performance of dance, poetry reading, reflective commentary, musicians on screen, and interactive time with the audience, the “Honouring Each Other” event will make universal connections between art, the sacred, and community engagement. The program will offer an inspiring inter-cultural and inter-faith perspective that promotes inclusive values, while respecting differences.
You will find your spirit dancing with renowned Indian dancer Amrita Choudhury who has performed on Ted Talks for a global audience. She is also a teacher who provides workshops in dance and Nritya Yoga. Amrita will express the dream of living in a place where people from all over the world work together in the common pursuit of truth, beauty and peaceful interaction.
A reception of light afternoon tea, with sumptuous desserts, will follow. You are cordially invited.
