This is a class for anyone who has yearned to paint in oils but has also heard that oils might be just too difficult to work with! Step by step for three weeks, this class will offer a gentle but very practical introduction to painting with oils. Working on a manageable 8×10″ canvas each week, students will learn the basics, starting with sketching out an idea, transferring a sketch to the canvas followed by step by step instruction on paint mixing and application. Teaching is by demonstration followed by one on one instruction.
Dates: Fridays – May 31, June 14 and 28, (3 weeks), 2:00 pm – 5:00 pm
