This three-hour workshop covers the basics of today’s most popular social media platforms. Participants will have some understanding and use of various social media platforms, but want to learn how to use it effectively to maximize connection with family and friends and/or expand their professional networks. Platforms such as Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram, and Pinterest will be discussed, analyzed and put into practice.
Participants will learn how to use social media tools to connect with their world online, understand privacy, and handle multiple profiles. The workshop will benefit people interested in promoting and marketing themselves or their business by understanding social media etiquette, getting the most out of posts, and how to engage potential clients and customers in a timely and meaningful way that will keep them coming back.
The workshop will provide a progressive, experiential learning experience.
