MEMORY KEEPING SCRAPBOOK

This 3 week course will teach you how to create a beautiful scrapbook to tell stories, relate a family history, a personal journey, a special vacation, or whatever you wish to immortalize. You will learn the principles of layout and design; how to use the correct tools to embellish the book, the use of specific papers, patterns, pens, stamps, inks, stencils, die cuts, even envelopes and pockets. You will learn how to incorporate images, photographs and drawings; and how to create beautiful layouts and write the prose. This course will give you a memorable and personal book to treasure and it maybe the first of many you will make. A supply list will be provided upon registration.

About the instructor
For the past year Elizabeth Prinzen has been the Paper works Teacher at Michaels Arts and Crafts in Belleville. She has been a County resident for over 30 years, and has been a home-school teacher, an amateur photographer, an arts and crafts and scrapbooking teacher. An avid artisan, she especially enjoys memory-keeping pursuits such as scrapbooking as she has a love of history and story-telling.
