Integrated Arts Programs


Drawing on the child’s innate creative process and abilities through the use of improvisational dance techniques and creative movement along with structured dramatic arts sequences and exercises such as role playing, games, mime, tableau and storytelling, each child will discover endless ways to develop their creative process in a supportive environment.

Each workshop runs from 10:00 am– 3:30 pm in an atmosphere that promotes: CONCENTRATION, COOPERATION, CARING and CREATIVITY
Workshops will inspire and facilitate for each participant to grow in SELF-ESTEEM and SELF-WORTH

Judith Popiel has taught dance and drama both in schools and independently for the past 25 years. She holds a Fine Arts Degree from York University and a B.Ed. and M.Ed from Queen’s University; has studied dance and drama independently at the Laban School in London England, New York and Toronto. She has choreographed and produced both live shows and TV Productions for children in dance and drama.

Michelle Lintern Mole recently retired as Arts Educator with the Hastings School Board and holds academic degrees from Western University and a B.Ed. from Queen’s University. She has taught theatre arts in Britain and Ontario for 20 years and facilitates and develops original alternative programs in the arts for young people and adults in the county and elsewhere. She also coordinated and assisted in the fund raising and restoration of the Al Purdy A. Frame in Ameliasburg where she resides.
